Film Maker&Visual Artist

Alexander Sadreddini is British/Iranian writer, producer & director. Sadreddini is recognized as one of today's UK emerging independent filmmakers and visual artists. Born in Iran, previously known as Alireza Sadreddini, he graduated from university of Tehran with a degree in Architecture design before starting to work as a motion graphic designer for Iranian national TV. He has been working in Post-production and digital arts as well as T.V. and media field since 1992 before starting his career as producer and director in 2013. Sadreddini's pioneering digital artworks were influenced by new wave renown Iranian masters of the 90's such as Abbas Kiarostami, Mohsen Makhmalbaf and Hossein Khosrojerdi who he still stays closed friend with. As a filmmaker, Sadreddini writes, directs and produces independently; which allows his diverse characters to be the main structure of the film. He has been acknowledged by the international film festivals world wide for embracing everyday characters with philosophical humor. Sadreddini founded and is director of London Eye International film festival "LEIFF" that exclusively focuses on Human Rights, Women Rights and Social Issues inviting independent films makers from across the world to screen their films in London.
